Individual Timetable Information

If you are a 1st year Business School or HaSS student you will not have confirmed your 1st year curriculum until you have completed your induction! You will not see all of your classes until then.

For further information please contact your faculty/department.

Accessing Timetables

You must complete both registration and any subject choice for your timetable to become available.

From 3rd September 2018 your individual personalised timetable will become available via MyplaceStrathclyde Mobile App and PEGASUS.

Depending on your faculty, it may only include information about your lectures and core activities that form your curriculum.

You should check your timetable regularly, they are subject to updates and changes until 1 October 2018.

Changes to your subject choices may take a number of days to be reflected in your timetable.

It will take a number of days (typically 5 days) for allocations to class activities to be implemented, so you will not see changes to your timetable immediately.

All timetabled activity locations are linked to campus maps so you can easily find your way!

Class Timetables

You can view individual class timetables at https://www.strath.ac.uk/professionalservices/timetables/ if your personalised timetable is not yet available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I find my timetable?

From 3rd September 2018 your individual personalised timetable will become available via MyplaceStrathclyde Mobile App and PEGASUS.

My timetable is empty?

  1. Are you registered on Pegasus?  If not then you must complete registration.  If yes, then do you have an approved curriculum on your record?
  2. If no then you must select your curriculum via Pegasus and your adviser of studies must then approve it.
  3. If yes, please note, it takes some time to update your record (typically 5 working days) if the delay is longer please email help@strath.ac.uk

Why am I missing some activities?

Is your curriculum correct on Pegasus? Until the 1st of October, some activities may not appear on your personal timetable (e.g. tutorials and labs).

Some activities will not be available on your personalised timetable but departments/subject areas should have informed you of the details of these activities.  If something is missing, and you think it should be included, email help@strath.ac.uk

I can see my timetable on the App but not on Myplace!

If you have undertaken some summer school courses (e.g. STEM Summer School) your registration on that course may overlap with your subsequent programme of studies.

As a result Myplace is not able to display your timetable until the summer course terminates. This is typically on the 1st October.

The App will allow you to select which registration is active, and so is able to display your personalised timetable in these cases.

Why does my friend on the same course have a timetable and I don’t?

Once registration is complete and curriculum approved, it can take up to 5 days for individual timetables to be updated

Why does my friend taking the same class have timetable information and I don’t?

A campus map, including walking directions and virtual tutorial is available at: https://www.strath.ac.uk/maps/

I went to the room and there’s no one there

Room allocations are subject to change.  Please check your timetable and Myplace for notification to room changes and/or changes to classes.  Double check you are in the correct location.

Has the room/time changed?

Room allocations and class times are subject to change.  Please check your timetable and Myplace for notification to room changes and/or changes to classes.

I have adjacent activities on my timetable, how am I meant to get to the second one on time?

As set out in the Timetabling Policy "Teaching starts at 5 minutes past the hour and ends at 5 minutes to the hour, to allow students and staff to move on to their next teaching event."
