Due to the plugin no longer being compatible with the latest versions of Moodle, the University of Strathclyde's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) service, Myplace, has deprecated the "Certificate" plugin as of 2018. This plugin has been replaced by the more versatile "Custom Certificate" plugin. The change is designed to provide enhanced flexibility and a more user-friendly experience when generating certificates

What does this mean?
The deprecation of the "Certificate" plugin means that users will no longer be able to use it within Myplace. Instead, they should transition to using the "Custom Certificate" plugin, which brings:

The plugin will no longer be available as of the 2024/2025 version of Myplace
