Scheduler activity was planned for deprecation from 2025/26 session based on low usage.
However the plugin has not had an update since Thursday, 25 May 2023, and does not offer an official version that matches Myplace’s underlying target Moodle version (4.5 or later).

Deprecation roadmap
The original reason based on low-usage has been retracted, sufficient use is being made of the plugin to merit it’s continued inclusion in Myplace.
However as noted above the active development and maintenance of this plugin is looking substantially reduced, with no officially offered version for Moodle 4.5 (which under pins the Myplace version being made available in June 2025).
What does this mean?
We will not be actively removing this plugin from the Myplace feature set in June 2025, however there exists the possiblity that that avilable version may not operate as expected.
If this is sufficiently detrimental, then the plugin may be withdrawn. Education Technology team will undertake a review of the plugin in the run up to releasing the June 2025 Myplace build and a decision will be made at this point in time.
