Scheduler activity has been deprecated from the 2026/2027 academic year to incompatibility with Moodle 5.1. The plugin has not had an update since Thursday, 25 May 2023.

Deprecation roadmap
The original reason based on low-usage has been retracted, sufficient use is being made of the plugin to merit it’s continued inclusion in Myplace.
However as noted above the active development and maintenance of this plugin is looking substantially reduced, with no officially offered version for Moodle 4.5 and above.
As we now moved to Moodle 5.1 on the Myplace service for the 2026/2027 academic year we are no longer available to support the use of this plugin in its current version. The plugin has been switched off in June 2026 and will be officially retired in August 2026.
What does this mean?
We have now disabled the plugin on the 2026/2027 Myplace service due to its incompatibility with the current Moodle version (5.1).
As an alternative, staff can manage bookings through Microsoft Bookings, after requesting initial setup to the Faculty IT staff or the Helpdesk.
