Deprecation roadmap

Certificate module has not been supported since Moodle 3.3, and has been disabled for “new” instances for a number of years. In the 2024 “Oahu” build the code will be removed.

What does this mean?

Existing instances of certificates will cease to be accessible, and an alternate certificate will need to be created.

The “custom certificate” module can be used for this purpose:
