New for 19/20 is the late submission feature on Myplace for assignment activities.
What does it do?
It will automatically apply the late submissions policy deductions to your work if your marker/tutor allows it.
What is the late submissions policy?
Days Late (24 hr periods from due date) | Penalty Attracted |

1 | 10% |
2 | 15% |
3 | 20% |
4 | 25% |
5 | 30% |
6 | 35% |
7 | 40% |
> 7 | 100% |
A minimum mark, equal to the pass mark, will be applied for late work of a pass standard that is submitted within the submission window.
No Penalties will be applied to work that is below the pass standard

What will it look like? / How will it effect me
When you go to an assignment submission page it will show the late submissions policy at the bottom.
When you have submitted it will show the provisional late submissions penalty (to be applied at markers discretion)
As per the policy, a minimum mark for late work of a pass standard that is submitted within the assessment submission window will be set to the pass mark. No penalties will be applied to work that is below the pass standard.
