Generating and editing a transcription in the Learning & Teaching Video Repository (using Microsoft Stream On Sharepoint)

To add a transcription to the video, navigate to your videos in the Learning & Teaching Video Repository, click on the video name to open the video in the browser by selecting the video and opening it in Stream

Once the video has opened, On the right-hand side menu select “video settings” on the right hand side page.

Select the blue “Generate” button under Transcripts and captions, select “English (United Kingdom) from the drop-down list and wait for the transcript to be generated.

Once the transcript has been generated a “transcript” button will appear on the menu on the right-hand side of the page.

Select the transcript button and the option to edit the transcript will be available.
