Sometimes you may find when accessing an assignment you cannot see anything to grade. There are a couple of reasons that could cause this.

There are no submissions

Sometimes there are no submissions! Double check on the assignment summary page students have actually uploaded some work!

Submission Filters

If you see the Nothing to display message, and there are definitely submissions made by students, the most common issue is that you have a filter applied.

The filter options appear below the With selected menu:

Setting the filter to No Filter should cause this to display all items.

Name Filters

Sometimes you will get an "Initials Bar" filter appearing above the table. This allows you to filter the table based on the initial of the students first and last names.

If you have this set you will see a Reset table preferences option, click this to remove all of the initial filters.
