Convergence Project

The Myplace ecosystem consists of 3 services: Myplace, Myplace Corp and Myplace FlexEd, underpinned by Moodle. All users, students, learners and staff, will benefit from a refreshed service that combines the features of the existing Myplace and Myplace FlexEd services and the more programme-led design, tile layout and dynamic branding of Myplace Corp. We are referring to this as our Convergence project; we converge all services to use the same version of the Myplace software and Moodle, including using the same theme.

By the end of the phased software release, Myplace and Myplace FlexEd will support features now only available on Myplace Corp, such as a personalised look and feel that reflects the programme branding and gives prominence to the programme, and a smoother experience on any device. Myplace Corp will also be updated so all services have the same flexibility across the advanced features. Whilst all users will benefit from a sleek user experience, the refreshed ecosystem will also guide staff into creating and delivering content consistently and with accessibility in mind.

This project is expected to be completed by June 2027.
