What does it do?
It will automatically apply the provisionally applies the late submissions policy deductions (shown below) to your work if your marker/tutor allows it.

See grade examples of deductions. submitted on Myplace but the marker then decides whether to apply it. For now it only applies to assignment activities.

When you go to an assignment submission page it will show the late submissions policy at the bottom.
When you have submitted it will show the provisional late submissions penalty (to be applied at markers discretion )
If you click the plus symbol it will show the expanded policy and why the level of deduction was applied

Once your grades have been released you will receive a breakdown which will include any late submissions penalties
